One
One

The words fail me,
As I try to convey,
The beauty I see,
In you every single day,

You lay there,
Eye closed and mind drifting,
Beautiful and unaware,
You gave September spring,

My heart betrayed me,
By falling in love with you,
So unbelievably strongly,
But i’m glad we’re one, not two.

Author's Note: well, this is only a draft actually. it's a 5 minute typed out poem of sorts. i'll re-edit it when i get my lappie. but as of now i think it's decent enough to meet the public eye so here it is! haha.

Listen...

Drip,
From my slit wrist,
My life.

Drip,
From my sad eyes,
My dreams.

Flow,
Gone; my life.
Shattered; my dreams.
