Beyond Comprehension
Beyond Comprehension

I realised i now that it matters not,
Not now not ever not anymore,
Those intimate little forget-me-nots,
All littered on the pavement floor,

Remember what used to be our song?
The one we sang with such passion?
Sadly for me those sweet days are gone,
The reason behind it though is beyond my comprehension,

i gave you my heart on a string,
When i should have locked it in a vault,
what happened werent something i had foreseen,
Aint no one's but my own pitiful fault.

Refused to See
Refused to See

what's happened to what we had?
truly the answer i have not,
how did things get so horribly bad?
it would have helped if we actually fought,

i'd like to say it was you,
who gave up this friendship,
but then again it wouldn't be true,
but why did i lose what i tried to keep?

i kept stressing you've changed,
but then again everyone does,
maybe you just got outta my range,
and too hard i wanted things to last,

i guess in the very end,
i would have to say it was me,
our friendship was just spent,
something i refused to see...

Listen...

Drip,
From my slit wrist,
My life.

Drip,
From my sad eyes,
My dreams.

Flow,
Gone; my life.
Shattered; my dreams.
